Psychologist

Your nurse or doctor can refer you to a psychologist, please ask your GP for advice.

You can also refer yourself to psychological services. See here for more information.

Interpreter

We can arrange interpreters for most spoken languages as well as sign language. This will usually be with a telephone interpreting service or by video if BSL interpreting is required.

It is helpful if you let us know in advance of your appointment.

Health Check

We encourage all newly registering patients to have a health check with one of our nurses or our Healthcare Assistant. A health check usually includes checking your weight, height and blood pressure but also screening tests for diabetes, sickle cell disease, thalaessaemia, HIV and sexually transmitted infections.  We can offer all patients a health check with a nurse every 3 years on request.
